I was cycling in France a few days ago, and couldn't resist ordering a
tartare de boeuf for lunch. It was made before my eyes with raw steak, raw egg, mustard, ketchup, wostershire sauce, salt, pepper, capers, raw union and parsley (and some other stuff I've forgotten):
For dessert, a
Colonel; lemon sorbet with vodka.
Needless to say, the kph's were down quite a bit after lunch.
