I definitely recommend this one to anyone who wants a climbing challenge! I came out of it surprisingly better than I thought I would. No soreness (except my shoulders) or lethargy afterwards.
I heard about people crashing last year but I didn't know it was on the MG descent. I could see why that's the place, though. I, personally, would stake bright orange SLOW signs on the side of the road because visibility gets really bad going down.
And, yea, that third climb was bad. It was so deceiving because at the beginning you couldn't see more than 2/10's of a mile before the next bend so you had no idea when the sucker was going to end. I can tell you that no one was in a talkative mood going up that thing!
