Well that Hercules is while in good condition is far from being mint and as foe rides like dream even in great riding shape these tend to be little heavy and clunky. I have never had or seen cheaper english three or single speed that I could describe as riding like dream and I have owned several and repaired a lot of them. I agree on all counts. I repaired that bike and gave it a test ride, and it most certainly did not ride like a dream. And no, that bike is not going to fetch even $100, let alone $500.
All I can figure is, maybe the guy must be hoping to catch the one rube who falls for the line "for you, the price today is half off", so at $250, Moe quintuples his money. I don't know. Boggles my mind.
