Some noise issues aside, every review I've read has raved about the braking power and consistency of Exalith. I'm sounding like a broken record here, but have you actually ridden them? Because I started this thread to hear actual experiences not yet more speculation.
They brake really well in dry conditions using Mavics pads, but they wear really fast and don't give the best braking performance in the wet. Using some Koolstops they stop just fine in all conditions though, but I think it voids the warranty.
