I took the Scott out on a 25 mile ride this morning. Simply put, this bike is incredible!!! This is the smoothest bike that I ever ridden. It gets up to speed effortlessly and makes climbing a pleasure. This bike has a very stiff bottom bracket. I alternated between sitting and standing on my hill climbs today and felt no flex or loss of power. I think I stood more today than I have ever stood on a single ride because it just felt great.

The Ultegra 10 shifts smooth and fast. I had Ultegra 10 on a previous bike so it felt great to have that feeling again as I went through my gears. The Ultegra 6600 brakes are SUPER strong. I had Shimano 105 on my Tarmac and they were not nearly as strong as these Ultegra bakes.

All-in-all I feel like I made the perfect choice. I was looking for something with the combined characteristics of a Look KG281 that I used to have and my Specialized Tarmac Comp. The SCOTT CR1 is the answer to my request. It is a GREAT bike at a GREAT price.
