MARINONI MOVIE PROJECT LOOKING FOR YOUR STORY
Hi There,
I recently started a documentary film project about famed bike builder and racer Giuseppe Marinoni.
I am looking to interview people with Marinoni bikes who would like to share their stories.
If you're interested, I would meet up with you (and your Marinoni bike) and ask you a few questions on camera.
I want to hear from anyone, young or old, in any language.
I want to get to the bottom of what it is about this brand that makes people tic.
Anecdotes are very welcome:
ex. Buying your first Marinoni bike.
ex. Having your Marinoni bike stolen and then finding it again!
ex. Having a rusty old bike refurbished at Marinoni.
The interview would only take 5-10 minutes.
Participants will have to sign a release form and will not be paid.
It's a great story, great project, and this is your chance to be part of it.
Let me know if you're interested...
Thanks,
tony
'Tony' even posted a couple of pics of Guiseppe, at play...:
...and at work:
Now, I have no idea whether this is a university student's class project or a full-fledged NFB (National Film Board) or otherwise bankrolled project - or what quality can be expected of the eventual finished product (assuming that it makes it into circulation after filming and editing). But it's cool that someone is taking the time and interest to document Montreal's finest (and rather long-running) frame builder.
I certainly love
mine.
