Hi guys I will get the headset out eventually( has a Tange but too tall) as I could not even get the lock nut all the down without the spacer let alone so, I will get a Tange passage headset to begin with and try to concentrate on weather I want to go the vintage route with wheels or go modern? Same with brake levers old or Ergos? I cannot afford any decent STI's so I will stay with down tube shifters. Should I stay with the Brooks and match bar tape or go for a modern saddle and tape accordingly?
A big Thanks to you all for all the information you have given me, I will need more help from you guy's re where on the bars the brake levers should be.
