The problem is that something like the one shown in the first post is probably about 1200 calories in one food item. If you're riding centuries, who cares? But if you're putting in 75 miles a week, don't think you eat one of those every day and not expect it add to your weight.

In comparison, a pint of beer is about 200 calories. You can drink six of those for one big cheeseburger.
