And what kind of 'constructive criticizm' are you actually open to? Posting comments like " It's a little pricey but I value the power to freeze motorists like deer.' tells me that you don't have much exposure to any really effective lighting. Ran onto the marketing rep for Light & Motion at the trade show over the weekend in Toronto and went through all his products. It was a little disappointing to see nothing I'd consider recommending. There was an unlit wall in a tent 15 feet away and pointing any of the less than 500 lumens at that wall - it was hard to tell they were even on. The rear VIS 180 was particularly disappointing cosidering all the hype around it.
Cars used to have kerosene lanterns too. I guess compared to those, a couple L&M lights might look pretty impressive, but they're still vary short of what I'd consider effective lighting. So I still think you need to get out more.
