there's no chance of that. I test rode them for over an hour. they had stock tires and all stock parts except one had fenders. I went back to the store today to look at them again for the third time. the store manager verified they were the same bikes except for the color and fenders. when lifting them up you feel the difference quite noticeably. I could pick up the fenderless one with one hand and lift it above my head with little effort, since it had a lightweight alloy frame and all alloy components. that's how light it was. but somehow couldn't do it on the bike with fenders. to easily lift it above my head required both arms. it sort of felt like picking up my grandpa's rusty old steel Schwinn that was made in the 1970s. that's what it reminded me of lol.
