I know the allez is more of a road racing bike but it is what I use as an everyday commuter. I got it last year and my lbs had marked it down because it was a 2010 model so I bought it, I admit, I really liked how she looked more than anything. It has mounts so I put a rack and I replaced the seat with a brooks. I've just been riding it and dealing with the water but I'm fed up with my shoes and everything getting soaked so I was looking to put some fenders. Weight really isn't an issue for me.
