I remember years ago I had a car that had a front caliper stick on me. I was about 5 miles from home when it happened, so I just decided to give 'er a little more gas and force my way home. I made it home but when I got out of the car and looked at the wheel the rotor was glowing red like an oven burner. I'll never forget the smell either.
