With helmets go as expensive as you can. The reason is simple, the more expensive ones are pretty, and since bike helmets will not protect your head from anything serious it's not reasonable to go around losing image with a huge mushroom shaped piece of cork in your head. It's all and only about looks.
This is the truth and anybody who dissents is wrong.
