Another example from last week. A small French town, one

menu de l'auberge. The starters and main course were nothing special, but were brightened up by a bottle of excellent Cotes de Provence rosé. The desserts, however, deserve a place in this thread. A very tasty
tarte aux pommes and a perfect
crème brûlée:
