So they wanted the steer lower than then stem AND THEN another spacer on top? I'd worry about the spacer getting pushed out to the side when pre-loading the headset. Is there anything left to hold the spacer in line with the steer tube and stem?
I thought the same thing, but apparently it works and the spacer stayed in place from day 1.
Here's what I followed as per Enve's instructions. I even spoke with Enve's tech support and he confirmed it as well.
ENVE stem install
