I agree with this.

I have a white Fizik Antares (not broken white or beige, but pure pristine white) and there has been no problem with discoloration. The only issue I sometimes have is that when I am working on my bikes I forget my hands are dirty. That is when the above comes in.

Unfortunately, I cant say the same for my (formerly) white Specialized S-Wrap cork tape. May try the white Fizik microtex tape in the future. Heard good stories about it, and according to Fizik it is both the "microtex" material.
