Sidewalks? On a country road in an area that probably has no more than a couple hundred people per square mile, tops?
That's an excellent area to ride bikes in - I've been there for long rides before. There's probably no more than a couple dozen cars per day, if that. Flat, good sightlines, long gentle curves, and no glare since she was heading north at the time. Of course we'll probably never hear any more about it after today.
