My electronics include a rear blinkie and a head lamp, both use AAA batteries and I carry 4 spare. I have a very small radio that I clip to my belt and head phones (it runs on a single AAA battery). Finally I have an iPhone, external battery pack, charger plug and cable. The battery can recharge the iPhone 5 times. I use the iPhone as my camera, book reader, music player, web browser, navigation aid and to blog and email.
PS. You sounds as if you are in the lightweight category......me too, my gear weighs 20lbs, lighter and I feel I'd start to give up comfort.
