Yeah, worth is a tricky one. How much did it cost and how much could I get if I were going to sell it are much easier questions. Then you have to ask, "is it worth more to me than what I can get for it?" I think a 1/3 drop in value from purchase price sounds a bit right. Half is the absolute most and that's more likely to be seen on a lower end bike where there isn't quite as far to drop.
