See but it's not a pot kettle situation at all. What did you do besides piss in the guys cheerios and call him a thief? Let's recap the thread. I offer a price, you call the guy shady, I call you out offering a completely reasonable situation, I post again, explaining that the highest end buyers are extremely fickle and want the latest and greatest, and given the 2013 update to the madone, it'll be quickly obvious that the OP's bike is not the latest and greatest. I also offered a link to the MSRP of a compatible bike, to work out a reasonable idea of what it might be worth.
What did you add to this thread other than to say the guy is shady?
And you offended my sensibility because there's nothing constructive in editorializing about the nature of the bike's ownership. The OP registered and posted for answers, not an indictment.
