Around here, high end bikes with any age to them languish on C/L. Great as a buyer, lousy as a seller.
Part out will bring the most $$, but that means ebay, which you need to willing and able to ship at a reasonable cost, and have a solid gold track record.
+1 The old Serotta forum is worth pursuing.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
