I suggest a new forum specifically for new riders or re-entrants. It'd be one where the posts are non specific to age or sex or ability, but only one where folks could ask 'stupid' questions w/o feeling intimidated by experts who seem to dominate many other fora.

The experts could visit here if they wished to chat with new folks but those who don't wish newbies to litter up the general fora with their 'dumb' questions could stay away.

I make this suggestion because I and others only feel welcome at the 50+ forum and that's where we're asking our newbie questions.
