Well, I don't want to spend that much money on a bike. I just moved to the Bay Area and want to rely less on my car. I was looking to spend $130 or less on one of those old bikes from the 70's or 80's like the Varsity or Centurion, but they all cost like $200+ on Craigslist. This is even the prices at the flea market. Should I raise my budget? My main concern is it getting stolen, that's why I want a really cheap one, otherwise I could go higher .

I'm looking for a geared road bike. Or hybrid.
