Thanks for the replies. I ended up buying the bike. It was in great shape -- new enough that the Specialized stickers are still in great shape. :b The only issue is that the front derailleur sometimes takes a bit of work to shift to the larger chainring, but I think it might be partially user error (I've never used SRAM before -- so far though it seems pretty good!). I've taken the bike on a couple short rides so far to get back in the groove, and it rides quite nicely. Looking forward to putting more miles on it!
