I have a set. I upgraded from, the entry level spd-sl pedals. They are way nice. The bearings operate much more smoothly. The weight of these pedals is a big plus, i honestly think both pedals together are lighter than one of my old pedals.

Personally I wouldn't pay 165, mainly as I am a college kid. I think they are worth that, i just couldnt really go that high. I got mine on a crazy deal from a retailer in the uk, cost me 109.
