Where do you want the piece of your mind? On the asphalt, or a tree? Because that's what you should point at.
If a clamp on rear brake gives you peace of mind that **** is gonna **** with your head when you can't stop your bike. For real, do not rely on hardware that cannot be relied upon. And that back brake cannot be relied upon.
On your fixed gear track frame? Go for it.
