The drop bar style mirror is the best and most people don't even know its there. I only use it on the left side for traffic. I would feel blind without it riding on the shoulder of the road.
I've seen those around. The Italian Road Bike Mirror, right? I see them on eBay all the time. I got something like it, but it bulges out a bit, and I would really like something that flows with the contours of my drop bars.
On the other hand, I've heard that the Italian mirror uses glass while mine uses plastic. Not sure what to think about that.
