I lost my older dog , Sophia , to bone cancer in July , but this little gal was at the shelter , and came to live here just a few weeks ago . I'm getting out for rides again as well .
I thought I was tough, but losing our Lab really set me on my ear. We had gotten a Rat Terrier in May when it was confirmed he was not going to make it, and Giggs (Mr. Rat Terrier) made our Lab's last months better by being an encouraging playmate. The pup York has big paws to fill, but he is a good one, and Yes, it is GOOD to be riding again!
