Hi Oldfeller, welcome to 50+ and to BF, lots of returning riders and plenty of us rode/ride/race motorcycles. As far as advice, just ride miles for right now, after you make sure the bicycle fits you properly so you are really comfortable on it. We need pics too, this is an N+1 event (a new bicycle purchase) so find the N+1 for 2012 thread and post up.
