I ordered a new Fizik Arione in my usual nondescript black on black configuration and they sent a saddle that is white with black stripe instead. The color combo isn't bad and will fit in fine with my titanium grey Lynskey. The question is how do the white saddles wear. Do they discolor or stay pretty clean and white over time. My old Fizik Arione developed a tear on the bottom edge after about 6000 miles and I want this one to last at least as long.

It can depend on the quality of the saddle. I have a vintage white turbo that's easily a couple of decades old. No tears, just some light lines and wrinkling on the sides. I let it get grungy and then took a magic eraser to it -- looks pretty bright again. I've conditioned it lightly and it's held up well. I think newer saddles are just not built as well.
