For me, no double is complete without 800 mg of ibuprofen and a 200 mg caffeine tablet at about mile 100 or just a little bit more.
People have seen me whip out some fast, strong finishes to my doubles.
Less pain, less inflammation and reduced fatigue is a big plus.
