Tomorrow, if all goes well, I'll reach 1800 miles, 50 short of my 2011 total (hope to hit 2400 by Dec 31).

Wrenched lots of bikes, worked on dozens of freewheels, but haven't reached my 8000th post yet.

In October I've been on C&V for 7 years. Do I have the itch?
Hey Bob, you too have had a lot of firsts this year. I know that one of the highlights of my summer was one that you were a part of: the LI ride. As far as mileage goes, I anticipate I'll make 2,000 miles for the year and probably won't be too far behind you if I can keep up the pace, work permitting. I'm taking the Norman out on a metric century tomorrow and the Bilenky tandem out for a ride on Sunday.

About the 7 year itch, where else is there to go? I have yet to find anything like BF C&V out there. There is the CR list, but that air is pretty rarified...
