find local racing clubs, ask their members where to get fit.

here - ask other 'locals' who have had it done and were successful

custom builders - if you;re honest and tell them you;ve bought "off the rack" but are a little confoozed, they may react well and suggest where to go (other than hell), or they may just be able to do it themselves and charge you for doing it. It will be worth it.
Think how much you've dropped already on that bike - and the LBS did nothing much except nod his head.

This is what gives good LBS a bad name... all lumped in the same crappy boat...
