I never did the job as my FD hanger screwed up and they warranted my frame and then I went to a EVO that has a press fit BB30 but I now also have a regular supersix with a BB30 but it's not making any noise , if it does someday I'll try grease then the bearing mount compound. Any compound left behind after knocking out the bearing can be removed with a solvent as the BB is aluminum. Press fit BB do not have aluminum inserts in their BB
I'd recommend against that Loctite 680 myself. Its a high strength compound and to remove it you'll be applying a sheer load with a bearing removal tool. Thats the loadong where this stuff'll be the strongest. Loctite actually recommends heating the parts to 250C before attempting removal. That'll not be nice for your paint job.

The other is a medium strength that can be removed at room temperature.
