I have front and rear lights and a 1000 lumen helmet light for night riding. The helmet light can be aimed effectively to light up the road where needed most and to alert motorists at a distance by briefly "flashing" them with old blindy. Also, while signalling, shine the light on your outstretched arm so motorists can see it.
