Interesting question. I recently bought a Giro Eclipse, and the first thing I noticed was it was slightly louder in wind noise than my Giro Ventoux.

Additionally, in spite of it supposedly having better cooling with more vents, I noticed my brow area felt slightly hotter, or that I noticed this more than with my old helmets.
