The best stuff I found is carborater cleaner for cars.
It usually does the job without harming the original paint.
I spray it on and wipe quickly then do it again
Over decals it sometimes doesn`t affect the decal but on some it takes the printing right of.
It had saved me a lot of time, them I usually wax it after.
