'same as the rest of the critters, give 'em space. Lot's of it. I just stop and look.

I didn't mention the dust or the fact that the tires were flat and the brake pads weren't original. That's just how I roll.


I avoid the American bikes in most cases. I have had some interesting ones but everything is uphill from here. I think it's a 1940 or so but missing some important bits. I would be lucky to recover the asking price of $100.00 but the Legnano is a very solid investment and beautiful (under all that dust) to boot. I also already have the bits to make it right like Universal levers, 3T stem and may be even the saddle.

I think the hub on the Higgins was a Torpedo..
