To keep it on topic, I've also read Dave Ramsey's
Total Money Makeover. As for non-bike-related accomplishments, my wife and I both maxed out our Roth-IRA contributions this year for the first time, and we also set up a college fund for our daughter (though we're telling her that she's going to need a scholarship
).
No need to apologize and thanks for the links. Both of those bikes are cool and that Park Pre is pretty flashy, though the understated nature of the Ron Kit does it for me. I'm looking forward to seeing that when it is done.
I gave the Total Money Makeover to my sister as a gift and I don't know if it helped or not. I thought about getting a copy for me, but decided not to because I thought it would be a waste of money, given how disciplined we are with out spending.
It looks like your stuff is coming together nicely, so keep up the good work!
