That tease of a pic shows your fork has the spring holes on the inside. Back to square one with the cantilever search. My fork has them on the outside

with regard to the decals, honestly i'm really digging the "bare" look.. plus the decals were in pretty bad shape.. I got the sharpie off but they were in pretty bad shape. I think the previous owner (accidentally?) tore up the top layer of the downtube decals when they did the repaint. they also cut out/around the seat tube and head tube Univega logos (i guess so paint would stick better?

the paint job itself wasn't poorly done but the prep was awful. i suppose though if glad they didn't do it right because then they would have sanded the chrome. you can still see the outline of the decals on the frame, even read the univega and alpina pro.. it's like etched into the smokey finish. overall the bike looks really cool.. has a unique "patina" without looking old and crusty lol
