I haven't had a clincher flat since summer 2009 ~12k miles
I went flat free for 3 years with tubulars 4k miles, until I switched to Vittoria Evo CXs and flatted 3/4 of them in 1000miles this year.

Basically I hardly ever flat, but I watch where I ride and avoid riding on shoulders with debris
