the one on the photo is newer than 88. Look at the sticker style. They are the same style as my Miele tivoli. I don't know what tubing is on this bike but I would suspect it is at last the same as my tivoli if not better. the Pantoed and stickered forks and higher quality grouppo point to at least the same quality of tubing. the sticker for the tubing material is on the front of the seat tube just above the bottom bracket. maybe the seller could clarify for you?
