Thanks for the responses. I was just frustrated that when I emailed them and saying that I was no longer intersted, they emailed back for reasoning. As much as I want to get an older road bike, I don't want to be buying someone else's rust.

I think a better approach might be word of mouth through friends and family that I'm looking.
