Without smoothing, SportTracks said the previous weekends staff ride was 13k; with a rational amount of smoothing it is 12k. Doing the ride over the normal route, the climb over to Napa is ~1200ft. Via Cardiac/Lake Hennessey it's ~1800ft, so it was probably realistically closer to 13k with the re-route.
The video looked just like the previous weekends ride. I dunno how you were still wearing those wrist warmers on Knoxville Rd though! I stopped at the exact same spot on Loch Lomand where you got the ice water ... it was the base of where the road really started tipping up, and I think must have been the first spot that had both shade and a driveway that was level enough to get back started from.
