I don't think I'd buy a tire that didn't publish the TPI.

Vittoria and Challenge tires are made in Thailand. I assume Continental tires (at least the higher end models) are still produced in Germany. FMB's are made in France and Dugast (I assume) in the Netherlands. I think Schwalbe and Michelin have factories in multiple countries.
