Cantis are mildly annoying and typically don't have as much stopping power as a caliper.
I've never had much trouble keeping calipers centered.
When I read this, I thought to myself "I don't usually mind working on them", then today, I had to set up some cyclocross cantis and I wanted to kill myself the whole time.
