These GoreTex boots with heavy rubber overshoes and two pairs of socks were good for keeping warm while commuting 12 miles each way at -4° F.
They also were suitable for walking in the snow when getting to and from the bicycle at home and work, and for dealing with the snow and slush on the road during winter months.
Definitely
NOT for those more interested in speed and "efficiency," than keeping feet warm while cycling in cold weather.
