I'm happy you got your Cinelli. It may be "rough", but that is only on the cosmetic level. There is nothing a little elbow grease can't fix.
There is no way that orange is original. Too thick on the seat cluster. No chrome showing. No decals. If you do repaint, I was always very fond of the blood red they had, although i know you are partial to the mauve (salmon, whatever,
). I personally never cared for the silver. It's Cinelli's bellybutton color - everyone has one.
I do like the chrome on Cinellis. It will cost you a bit, but I think it is worth it in the long run.
Also, you can never spend too much on good tires.
