The picture is lousy, but in any case carbon forks don't have these kinds of seams. They're made with woven carbon sheets which are wrapped in layers. You can see the ends of sheets, but it won't appear as a straight seam.

A better picture might help, but your best bet is to let a knowledgeable person -- shop mechanic or friend -- look at your fork in the flesh and give you an opinion.
