I know how I come off. go read my first reply then second then third. once you read my posts in context you will see that he is trolling and I got "less friendly" the more he trolled.

I don't know WHY I have to keep stating this over and over again. I have already said the garmin is top notch. the problem is its $500 and up. short of finding a 700 series for $300 (still crazy expensive) like he did I am not getting a garmin. (yeah you can get a 500 series for $300 but that is inferior to the droid solution to me ie leaves you wanting for more and still crazy expensive. 75% the cost of my bike)

if I had $500 it would NOT be spent on a garmin. ever. it would be a down payment on a heavier duty bike.

like I said garmin's are wonderful for this with lots of discretionary funds. not so great for those of us who can't aford the price tag.

a droid gives us 90% of what the garmin does at a fraction of the price.

and if you have BTLE a droid will EXCEED what the garmin can do. by a lot. and do it better.
